Administrative issues and budget

The project manager Robert Dudas presented the budget situation submitted in the interim report. Based on this, it is clear that the efficiency of the use of resources is very low, due to which the professional work is also lagging behind. With the approval of Tempus, a transfer of funds (reallocation) will take place, which will also be signed by the legal representatives of MUB and UP. As the resource allocation does not reach the maximum allowed of 20%, there is no need to amend the grant agreement. (amendment to be attached)
Timesheets are filled in correctly.

Projectmanager highlighted indicators and presented what is written in the proposal.

Based on that partners agreed that tasks have to be fulfilled jointly. UP will be responsible for the design of the joint website (including FB profile and other social media elements and BECOMING hashtag), new logo, Roll-up, T-shirts, pens and brochures. Press releases will be made jointly.

REMAINED TASKS and dissemination

  • Presented bulletpoints from the proposal:
  • The developed IOs will be prepared and disseminated in English, with national language versions for IO1 and IO2, so that they will be available to a large number of potential users.
  • Dissemination activities:
    • project website and official Facebook profile of the project: any information related to project progress will be posted on the website and linked to the partners’ home websites; the persons responsible for information posting will be the Public Relation Team (PRT) and the language used will be English and the national languages, depending on the topic and target audience
    • social media (one of the following: blogs, tweets, FB or LinkedIn): all project participants will be encouraged to post about project activity as part of their social media activity
    • use of logotypes, stationery and other graphical materials designed for project purposes in all project-related correspondence
    • press releases sent to on-line publications of associated organizations or other scientific organizations promoting the project and its activities and posting them to the media cooperating with the consortium
    • short press statements and materials for publication in local newspapers about the project prepared by promotional offices
    • #BECOMING hashtags used to mark project activity on social media
  • University-level dissemination activities:
  • promotion of project activities during scientific conferences in which scientists take part, e.g, through dissemination of information on project activity during their presentations, posters, or lectures
  • public talks, press releases and articles in newspapers: teachers giving public talks/writing articles for local newspapers about their work
  • promotional materials financed from the grant for Project Management and Implementation, such as posters, roll-ups, T-shirts, pens, folders, etc.
  • universities’ own publications, media communication through local, regional and national media (TV, radio, newspapers), or Researchgate (social media website for scientists)

Project website:

As part of project implementation and dissemination, a project website will be created that will contain all the results and ongoing updates on project progress.
  • The social media pages of BECOMING will contain various educational resources and will remain online five years after the project end

Next steps

The next project meeting will take place in Belgium. The 2nd Multiplier event will also be held there. There will even be an online meeting on the details of these. Róbert Dudás is responsible for the administrative and supporting documentation.

New idea of the modular courses, IO1, IO2

Dr Attila Gyenesei presented the new structure of the modular courses. Developed materials so far will be used but the frame and shape of the new modules will be different. 14 topics will be created by partners and divided into 3 parts. The first will be an introduction, the second will be advanced and the third will be a data visualization.
Tasks that the partners are unable to perform will be taken over by UP with the involvement of appropriate professionals.
The partners also agreed to try to develop the materials as soon as possible, as they still need to be translated.
